FIND CHEAP Cruises

BE FLEXIBLE - Don't be stuck on a certain date or itinerary. You can save hundreds of dollars sometimes by going a week earlier or later. Different itineraries can save you money too. Going to the Caribbean might be less expensive than going to Bermuda. See what options work for you best. The more flexible you are the more money you can save.

CRUISE OFF SEASON - Hurricane season (June-November)is an inexpensive time to cruise but of course you have to worry about weather. We always get trip insurance incase our trip would be canceled or shortened. Cruise lines have been known to switch itineraries to stay away from weather issues. The first 2 weeks of December is probably one of the least expensive times because most people are getting ready for the holidays. Prices are almost always higher when kids are out of school.
CHOOSE A CHEAPER CABIN - Inside cabins are usually cheapest. Most people don't spend a lot of time in their cabin and they are all close in size. Also almost all cabins look exactly the same and you'll pay increasing amounts to move up to higher decks. An inside cabin on the highest deck is going to likely be at least 100.00 more than the exact same cabin located on the lowest deck. To me it makes no difference what deck I'm on.

BOOK EARLY OR LAST MINUTE - You would be amazed if a ship has many empty cabins they can put out some amazing offers. If your set on going at a certain time try and book as early as possible many times the rates are better especially when booking during holiday weeks or high season.
BOOK ONLINE - You can get many great deals by booking and checking an online cruise site like cruisedirect.com or cruise.com. Many times they will give special onboard credits or a small freebie to book with them.

Or book with agent - An agent is a great way to book for a newbie - your able to ask questions to live people which is always a plus - Some will keep an eye out for you if they see something that would interest you and you get personal service without it costing you any more. You could always do a quick search to check prices and many times if you find lower rate they can match it.
